I love the quality of these pants (alongside everything else from this site), you can tell that they are well made and meant to last you a long time.
However the issue I'm having is with the length. The description says that the small has a 33" inseam and as you go up in sizes the inseam goes up a few centimeters. I always struggle to find bottoms that are long enough for me, so initially I was so excited when I saw that these were advertised as long. I ended up getting the 2x because I have bigger hips and I wanted to get the longest length possible because I am 5'8 with a 33"-34" inseam. But these turned out to be high-waters on me when I tried them on. When I measured the pants myself they measured to have a 31.5" inseam.
I noticed in your tiktok videos, the tape measure you use to show your inseams are incorrectly placed because the crotch should start at 0" and not at 1" or 2". I find that a bit misleading. Based off of that point, if you move the tape measure down to start at 0" and not at 1.5" (where it's placed in the video), it's clear that the true inseam is around 31.5", similar to the measurement I took myself. Had I seen those videos before I purchased I would've not ordered because of the inaccuracies in the measurements.
I study fashion, sell vintage clothing and I also sew and make clothes so I know a lot about clothing; I wanted to offer some advice. A 28"- 31" inseam would be labeled a 'regular' inseam length. ‘Tall’ inseams usually start at 33"-34". So I think you should either: (1) Have three lengths, 'short', 'regular', and 'tall' (the ‘regular’ being this item and the ‘tall’ being a new length you introduce), or (2) If you aren't currently at the capacity to produce another length (which is so completely understandable considering you are a small business), I recommend that you change the label of these pants from 'long'/tall to 'regular'. I think that would deter the confusion a lot of tall people have with the length of these pants.
If the question is if I recommend this product, YES, absolutely I do! But only if you have an inseam of 31.5" or shorter!
I will continue to support this business because you can tell everything is made with love. And I absolutely love the community! Maybe I'll stick with the tops for now until a true 'tall' inseam is offered.
With love,
